Aquacel® AG Rope with Hydrofiber® Technology and ionic silver is designed for use in moderate to highly exuding wounds that are infected or at risk of infection. The Hydrofiber® Technology ensures the dressing transforms into a cohesive gel when in contact with wound exudate, maintaining a moist wound healing environment, and supporting the body's natural healing process. The ionic silver provides sustained antimicrobial activity for up to seven days, reducing the bioburden and helping prevent infection.

Indications:

• Leg ulcers (venous, arterial, mixed etiology)
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Pressure ulcers/injuries
• Surgical wounds
• Traumatic wounds
• Cavity wounds and tunneling wounds

Usage Instructions:

1. Cleanse the wound with saline and dry the surrounding skin.
2. Apply Aquacel AG Rope directly into the wound, ensuring it is loosely packed.
3. Leave at least 2.5cm of the rope outside the wound for easy retrieval.
4. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing to manage exudate.
