Hydrocoll Wound Dressing - Box/10

Hydrocoll® is a self-adherent, absorbent hydrocolloid dressing designed for managing moderate to heavily exuding wounds. The dressing consists of carboxymethyl cellulose particles within an adhesive polymer matrix, covered by a semi-permeable, waterproof, and bacteria-proof polyurethane film. Upon contact with wound exudate, Hydrocoll transforms into a soft gel, creating a moist wound environment conducive to healing.

Indications:

• Pressure ulcers
• Leg ulcers (venous and arterial)
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Superficial burns
• Post-operative wounds

Usage Instructions:

1. Cleanse the wound according to standard clinical practice.
2. Apply Hydrocoll directly onto the wound, ensuring it adheres securely.
3. Secure with a secondary dressing if needed.
4. Change the dressing every 1 to 3 days or as needed based on the level of exudate.

Precautions:

• Ensure the dressing is in full contact with the wound bed for optimal performance.
• If signs of infection persist or worsen, seek medical advice.
